10th Life Cat Sanctuary Needs

Volunteers are needed to help with daily operations of the 10th Life Cat Sanctuary. Even a single 3 hour shift once a week would really help. Some of the tasks we need help with are:

• Clean cages and empty litter boxes
• Feed and water Cats
• Clean Facility
• Do Laundry at the facility or at your home
• Wash cat dishes
• Remove Trash from facility
• Assist in Medicating cats
• Clean cats eyes and noses
• Socialize / Play with cats
• Paperwork / administrative duties
• Return Phone Calls
• Shopping for supplies
• Take cats to / pick up cats from Vet
• Help with Adoption events
• Transport cats and cages to and from adoption events
• Become a trained adoption counselor
• Help with fundraisers like rummage sales

Cat Supplies:

• Litter (cheap stuff)
• Dry Cat Food - Science Diet, Nutro, Purina One, Iams, Other
• Canned Cat Food - Friskies “loaf” flavors, Nine Lives, Fancy Feast, Hill Country (Nothing in gravy please, they only lick the juice)
• Plastic Toys (bleachable)
• Towels
• Flat Sheets
• Baby Blankets
• Food/Water dishes – Glass, Ceramic or Stainless Steel

• Small Cat Carriers
• Small, Medium and Large Dog/Cat Cages
• Cat Scratching Posts
• Ferret Hammocks from Petsmart
• Covered Litter Boxes
• Litter Boxes

Office Supplies:

• Laptop PCs (Pentium II or better)
• Printer
• Copier
• Scanner
• FAX machine
• Bundled Newspaper (color inserts removed)
• Small Post-it Notepads – Pale blue, bright blue, pale pink, bright pink, other colors
• Plain Printer paper
• 3 X 5 Blank Index Cards
